Our History of Mission-Driven Investing
Our firm was founded in 2015, in partnership with the blue moon fund, a private foundation with a long history of successful mission-driven investing. “Mosaico”, Spanish for “mosaic,” represents our belief that excellence in investing embraces a broad array of considerations; not just financial risk and return, but also sustainability and positive environmental impact. We are committed to transparency, integrity and a deep understanding of the societal and natural context within which our investments operate.
Our People
Jason W. Green, President
Jason oversees Mosaico Management’s investment management activities. He is the former Chief Investment Officer of blue moon fund, inc., where he helped create and manage the endowment's mission-driven investment strategy. Prior to joining blue moon fund, Jason spent 13 years at Moore Capital Management LP as a Principal in the Private Equity Group and later as Portfolio Manager of a U.S. long/short equity strategy. Prior to Moore Capital, Jason worked in the Principal Investment Area of Goldman Sachs & Co.
He received his MBA from the Wharton School of Business and BA from the University of Virginia.
